These Pilot Cocoons are equipped with Polaré photochromic gray lenses. The photochromic lens system automatically darkens or lightens dependent upon the conditions, ensuring a precisely regulated, consistent rate of light transmission. As light conditions increase or decrease, the lens system adjusts so that your eyes remain relaxed and focused on the task at hand.
Second in size to the Aviator, the Pilot accommodates large prescription glasses whilst providing maximum coverage and comfort.

Cocoons are designed to be worn over your prescription glasses. To achieve the perfect fit, it’s important you find the size that most accurately fits over your eyewear. Measure the full width and height of your glasses at the widest points.
Designed to fit over prescription glasses measuring less than:
139mm (5 1/2 inches) in width by 50mm (2 inches) in height.

To ensure your Cocoons Fitover Sunglasses maintain their exceptional performance and longevity, it’s essential to care for them properly.
- Always use a microfiber eyewear cleaning cloth designed to gently remove smudges and dirt without being abrasive on the lens surface.
- Avoid using household cleaners or rough materials, as these can damage the lens coatings.
- When not in use, store your Cocoons in the protective case provided to prevent accidental scratches or damage.
- Additionally, it’s best to avoid leaving your sunglasses in places that can become extremely hot (such as your car dashboard) when not in use. Prolonged exposure to extreme heat can cause damage to eyewear components over time.

Our tried and true polarized gray tint is also available in a photochromic option. At any time of day and in any weather conditions, these lenses will adjust to the present light conditions to provide just the right amount of tint while eliminating blinding glare.
When exposed to higher levels of UV and bright light, the lens will become darker. When lower light levels are present, the lens will lighten to provide less tinting. It’s the perfect on-the-go lens for total protection, versatility, and true color definition.
